What's New in v2
The original XEB token had staking, governance, and burn mechanics. V2 adds something better — every month, a random number of $XEB holders receive limited-edition NFT art directly to their wallets. No claim. No gas. Just hold and wait for the art to arrive.
Maintain a minimum balance of 10,000 XEB in your wallet. That's it — no registration, no separate claim, no staking required to be eligible.
On the 1st of each month, a snapshot records all eligible wallets. The number of winners is randomized — anywhere from 50 to 200 holders could receive art that month.
Winners are chosen through on-chain randomness derived from block data and a verifiable seed. Every eligible wallet has an equal shot. Staked $XEB counts toward your balance, increasing your weight.
Selected wallets receive a limited-edition NFT directly. Each piece is unique to that month's drop, with rarity tiers and artist attribution baked into the metadata.

Monthly 1/1 Drops
Each month features a unique animated 1/1 NFT — only one copy will ever exist. These are the rarest pieces in the XEB ecosystem, awarded to a single random eligible holder during that month's airdrop. Every piece is an animated optical illusion rendered in pure SVG/CSS — no images, no video, just code.
Tokenomics
Fixed 100M supply designed for Base mainnet. No mint function. Burnable by design. Allocated across staking rewards, liquidity, airdrop art pool, governance, and team — all vesting on schedule.
Staking
Stake $XEB to earn protocol rewards. Longer lock-ups earn higher APR. Staked balance also counts toward your airdrop eligibility weight, giving stakers a better shot at monthly NFT art.
Stake and unstake anytime. Rewards accumulate continuously. Perfect for holders who want flexibility.
Lock for 30 days for boosted rewards. Balanced approach for holders who want more without long commitment.
Lock for 90 days for significant rewards. The sweet spot between commitment and return — most holders choose this tier.
Maximum commitment, maximum rewards. Lock for a full year for the highest APR and the best airdrop odds.
Reward rates are estimates based on protocol participation and may vary. Staking rewards require a funded rewards pool — until the pool is funded, no rewards accrue. Staking does not guarantee NFT airdrop selection — it increases your eligibility weight in the random draw. Early unstake from locked tiers incurs a 10% penalty to the airdrop pool.

Token Burn
Permanently remove $XEB from circulation. Every burn reduces total supply — no one can mint more. Burns happen on-chain and cannot be reversed.

The monthly protocol burn occurs automatically when each NFT airdrop round is executed. The burn rate is configurable by governance and defaults to 5% of the treasury balance per round.

Roadmap
From token launch to community-governed art curation. Here's what's ahead for XEB v2.
XEB deploying to Base mainnet. 100M supply, four-tier staking, EIP-2612 permit, burnable supply, and on-chain governance. Contracts are written and tested — mainnet deployment is in progress.
Monthly NFT airdrop system goes live. First eligible-wallet snapshot taken on the 1st of the month, with 50–200 random holders receiving art.
Holders vote on art themes and featured artists. On-chain proposals go live. Stakers get boosted voting power.
Open submission platform for community artists. Selected artists get their work featured in monthly drops and receive $XEB grants from the community treasury.
XEB bridges to additional chains. Airdrop eligibility expands cross-chain. NFT art becomes tradeable on secondary marketplaces with creator royalties.

XEB is an ERC-20 token designed for deployment on Base mainnet, inheriting OpenZeppelin's upgradeable contracts. The protocol uses a proxy pattern for future upgrades while maintaining immutability of core token logic. Contracts are written and tested — mainnet deployment is pending.
The fixed supply of 100,000,000 $XEB is allocated across five buckets designed to balance liquidity, community incentives, and long-term sustainability. All allocations vest according to on-chain schedules.
Monthly NFT art airdrops use an on-chain random selection process seeded from block data. Eligibility requires a minimum balance of 10,000 $XEB at the snapshot block. Staked positions receive multiplier weighting. A future upgrade path to Chainlink VRF is planned for stronger randomness guarantees as the protocol matures.
XEB is built on OpenZeppelin's audited upgradeable contract libraries and covered by an internal test suite. No third-party security audit has been completed yet — this is an early-stage protocol and should be treated accordingly. Contract upgrade authority will transition from a single deployer key to a multi-signature wallet as the protocol matures.
Four staking tiers offer escalating APY rewards in exchange for lock-up commitment. Staked XEB accrues rewards continuously and qualifies for airdrop multiplier weighting. Early unstaking incurs a 10% penalty redirected to the airdrop pool.
On-chain governance allows XEB holders to propose and vote on protocol parameters. Proposals require 1M XEB to submit and quorum of 10M XEB. Voting power is proportional to token holdings via ERC20Votes snapshot delegation.
Anyone can mine XEB for free directly in their browser using a Web Worker that computes keccak256 proof-of-work. No special hardware, no electricity cost. Find a valid nonce, submit on-chain, and claim 10 XEB per proof.
